Elvid RigVision CM-7L 7 Field Monitor with Shutter Release

The Elvid RigVision CM-7L 7"" Field Monitor with Shutter Release is a slim, widescreen camera monitor with both video monitoring and photo shutter release functions. Seven shutter release cables are included for compatibility with a comprehensive range of cameras. Also included are an NP-F750 battery, charger, AC adapter, ball head for mounting a camera, a right-angled HDMI cable, an IR remote control, a sun shield, and a protective neoprene case. The remote is capable of adjusting settings, such as contrast, while a connected camera is recording. The sun shield is a fold-in/flip-up type -- it folds in to cover the screen when the monitor is not in use or for transport, and it robustly flips up by a spring mechanism to protect from bothersome light. It can also be removed entirely.

The monitor's resolution is 1024 x 600, and camera signals with up to 1920 x 1080 in resolution can be input. Connections consist of HDMI and Composite RCA inputs, an HDMI loop output, and a headphone jack for monitoring audio, and two speakers are built into the rear for monitoring audio without headphones.

For photo applications, a Shutter Release button on the front focuses in on a subject at half press and snaps a photo at full press. A Bulb Mode button keeps the shutter open as long as you need for long exposure shots. An Auto Focus button focuses automatically in photo mode and as well in video mode in cameras that support auto focus in video mode. And a Sleep button puts the monitor into Sleep Mode.

The included battery snaps in and a release switch keeps it securely locked in. The AC adapter can be connected to both power the monitor and charge an attached battery at the same time. A removable cable clamp on the back helps keep HDMI input and output cables from accidentally unplugging. The monitor features a 1/4"" thread on its bottom for mounting without the included ball head.
