Details
Creative photographers will appreciate the ability to use a Canon Speedlite using TTL functions off-camera using the Vello TTL Off-Camera Flash Cord. This versatile flash cord allows you to move the flash off of the hot shoe and create dramatic lighting styles that are not possible with a shoe-mounted strobe.
One end of the TTL cable fits into the camera's hot shoe, ensuring that all of the exposure data is communicated between the flash and the camera. The other end of the cable holds the flash and can be attached to any stand, tripod, or device with a standard 1/4"-20 threaded stud or flash shoe mount.
The coiled cord measures 1.5' (0.5 m), which is enough distance to accommodate handheld lighting styles, or to have the flash mounted on a compact flash bracket. Photographers who want to mount the flash to a larger bracket or to a stand with an umbrella might need a longer version of this cable.
Alternate lengths:
- 3' (1 m) - extra length for flash brackets with longer positioning arms; allows handheld flash positioning
- 6.5' (2 m) - allows the flash to be mounted on a light stand with an umbrella
- 33' (10 m) Universal TTL Cord - ideal for a hard-wired solution with a wider range
Compatibility
- Canon SLR and DSLR cameras with a TTL hot shoe
- All E-TTL and E-TTL II compatible flashes (e.g. 430EX/EX II, 580 EX/EX II, 600EX-RT etc.)
Off-Camera Lighting
- Using off-camera lighting gives your photographs a more natural look and avoids unnatural shadows
1.5-foot (.5 meter) Coiled Cord
- The length allows the use of off-camera handheld techniques.
Limited One-Year Warranty

I love the length of their new cord
5/6/2014Rating: I am using this with my G15 and my 5D and I am loving every second of it. The canon cords are waaaaay to long and I always had to wrap the extra length now I have the perfect length. Throw in the fact that canon charges twice as much and this deal is one of the greatest you will see on istockonline.

Brilliant! (used with FR3 bracket-cannon 5D)
5/4/2014Rating: What can I say about the vello flash cord that hasn't already been said about the wheel, electricity, or the polio vaccine??
This cord has a perfect length and feels great. Performs well and lasts awhile. Used it with my FR3 bracket so far. I would pay as much as canon charges but it costs way less than canon's version. Fantastic job vello. I can't wait to tell my grandkids about what will surely go down as the greatest deal of all time.

Perfect for a flash bracket/ cannon 5D Mark III
6/22/2013Rating: I got one of these and now I just bought four more so I will always have backups. They work great and they last. One of my canon's went bad after only a few days but not these. The length is perfect, the cord sturdy and not likely to tangle. I use this with my 5D and on the RFPRO flash bracket. Highly recommend this to all of my artistic brothers and sisters.

Perfect substitute
4/21/2013Rating: This is as good or better than the canon cord which is also too long at like 2' or something.
Vello hit the spot on this one.
Excellent!

Buy this cord! Seriously right now
12/6/2012Rating: Using off camera cords is a pain in the butt and results in cords tangling around everything. This compact flash cord is not too long and works like a charm. Trust me, you will not regret this purchase.

Cheap cord works fine
11/29/2012Rating: Absolutely wonderful! You don't get what you pay for you get more. I am only giving 4 stars because I think the cord should be a bit thicker but the length is perfect and the product works fine.

I no longer deal with flopping
9/27/2012Rating: The canon cord is too long and too expensive. Vello came in and fixed everything. For a lower price I got a cord that is for once the perfect length. Works well and now I have ended up with a collection of these and if you are not careful you will too. I recommend this item.

Just as good as the cannon version
5/9/2012Rating: I use this with a flash bracket and I am impressed. It is the same as canon's version but cheaper. I was about to get the name brand and now I am glad that I didn't. Buy this you wont regret it.

I think I will get another
3/14/2012Rating: Saved my money and got this one over the canon. Easily attaches and does not interfere with camera components in anyway. This is not a lot of money and has mostly positive reviews. I will buy again
