PC Sync Cords & Adapters
A camera’s PC connection is used to synchronize a flash with the opening of the camera’s shutter (and no, PC has nothing to do with computers—it stands for Prontor/Compur (don’t ask)). Using these sync cords or adapters, you can connect a PC to a household connector, to a male ¼ photo connector, to a hot shoe, to a male PC, or to a female PC.
