The 8" Snoot/Reflector for Portable Flash from Vello can be used either as a snoot or as a reflector, and is designed to modify the light from your shoe-mounted flash unit. It can be used as a snoot by forming a tunnel through which the light passes, producing a narrow beam of light. This allows you to target light to specific areas of your subject for dramatic lighting effects. Used as a reflector, this flash accessory can be used to bounce and scatter the light output of a flash unit, to provide a more pleasing and even exposure.
Touch-tab fasteners are included for mounting the unit to your flash, and the unit folds flat for easy storage.

12/17/2013Rating: I mostly use snoots when I am shooting people and want to emphasize the hair. I find smaller snoots don't do the job as well. Tried this one and the length is good, focuses the light exactly as I need it. It would be nice if it could attach without velcro but velcro does work well and it is easy to attach. Reflector works well too. This is a really good product.
