The BG-N9 Battery Grip for Nikon D3100 and D3200 from Vello is designed specifically for the Nikon D3100 and D3200 DSLR cameras and accepts one or two EN-EL14 batteries. With two batteries installed, your shooting time is effectively doubled. More so, when one battery is drained, it can be removed and recharged while you continue shooting with the other battery.
The design of a battery grip offers a comfortable and secure way in which to hold your DSLR, especially in the vertical position. And the BG-N9 comes with an alternate shutter release button to facilitate shooting when held vertically. In addition, the BG-N9 is designed with an anti-slip rubber grip to further improve handling, a tripod socket to mount your camera directly to a tripod and a wonderful touch: a holder for the camera's battery door so as not to lose it when the battery grip is installed.

1/22/2014Rating: If you are even an amatuer photographer than you know the value of using a battery grip. Nikon makes one but this vello fits my D3200 like it was factory made. Not only does it look as if it came with my camera it signifcantly extends the life of my battery. vello has converted me, I am now a believer in 3rd party gear. Strong recommendation for this product.
