This storage enclosure is compatible with two 3.5"" SATA I/II/III hard disk drives and features maximum data throughput of up to 5 Gbps when connected to the computer via the integrated USB 3.0 port. In addition to USB 3.0 connectivity, the DRD-101 also comes equipped with an eSATA port, and the accompanying cables for each port. Once installed, the two hard drives can be configured to suit a variety of storage needs as this enclosure offers RAID 0, RAID 1, JBOD, and SPAN configuration settings which can be configured via the RAID Mode switches located on the rear of the device. With a solid aluminum construction and large internal cooling fan this dual-bay system will remain cool through tough data demands.
